Hi,
I am driving my GTR out to Spa in Belgium in June for a trackday & need to arrange breakdown cover for the road journey - the car is 15 years young.
Any recommendations gratefully received.
Hopefully not too long before the salt is off the roads & we can get the Ultimas back on the road!!!!
Cheers

If you're going on the Euro tunnel there is an option to buy Euro breakdown when you buy your ticket

Who are you insured with? Have you checked it's not included in your policy?

I did a European round trip a few years back and took out breakdown cover. One of the rocker arms fell apart on the Italy France border on the way home. The car was towed to a local garage and my insurance co phoned. The upshot was that they wanted the car to be diagnosed and repaired at that garage. This was their only option despite my explanation that parts would have to come from the US etc. They refused to get the car transported back to the UK by truck until all other options were exhausted. I was not prepared to allow some little back street garage to strip my engine and nor was I prepared to leave the car there for an extended period and then have it slung on a truck and brought back to the UK without my attendance. Eventually I paid for somebody to drive over from UK to pick me and the car up. Was expensive but I was happy. I will not bother again obviously. A trip to Spa would be the least of my worries as there are UK based race car transporters travelling back and forth nearly every day and many helpful people about.
