Top Speeds.....How fast have you gone?

Reading BugG's Spa exploits and some of the replies made me wonder about a couple things. For those of you lucky enough to have driven your Ultima....what's the top speed you've seen on the dial? For those of you like me...who aren't quite finished (or started) on the Ultima....What's the fastest you've ever driven and in what? For me.....160mph in my 911 Turbo on a 2 lane country road 30 miles west of chicago(road ALL clear ahead)....a bird flew out from behind a mailbox and nearly made me loose the thing....had to stop and clean my shorts!

Had my Can-am on the road a month, done 130mph but this is in play mode on fun twisty roads rather than on the motorways.

I've been caught doing 150+mph on a bike and rolled my cossie at 145mph, but both max at 160ish so not been as fast as you yet.

Saw 160mph on the way back from Le Mans this year and lots of 130's & 140's. Not in this country tho' .... Toooo risky with the BiB's throwing away the key.

The other traffic does approach rather quickly with a closing speed of 100+

I am sure you were going 60mph when you overtook that elise on the way to Gaydon. Fine driving but a shame that the elise was going so slowly. It is lucky you can go faster in Germany
