1) is my steering arm upside down?
I am pretty sure that I could reduce bump-steer by flipping the steering arm so the tapered fitting on the rack can come in from the bottom. It is hard to see on the photo but the steering rack arm slope up quite a bit!

I do not have factory approved wheels!

2) On most Ultima's are the sills parallel to the floor? Mine are a little lower at the front.

You could use a camber guage and experiment with raising and lowering the suspension slightly? i found that on my 'non ultima' that horizontal arms worked well but only with stiff suspension.

1. That is the correct way around, Improvements in bump steer are made in mm so flipping it around i would imagine would be horrendous!

2. measured from the chassis to the floor the front is usually 110mm at the front and 160mm at the back. I find mine points slightly down to the front so no, not totally parallel.
