Im thinking about changing out my heater/ A.C. evaporator for a A.C. unit only on my new project. My old GTR didn't run a heater and living in So Cal I never needed one. It would seem that with a front mounted condenser that I have, with the pressure regulator mounted in the cabin instead of the engine bay, which is evidently a point worth noting and the standard compressor which is meant for a much bigger car that f I want max A.C. performance this might be the way to go. Any Thoughts? Lee

front mounted condenser will be better for sure, OEM's put them there for a reason.

I'm back with progress on my A.C. modification. On Goggle there is a company GHR auto parts out of sparks Nevada that is offering a cool only evaporator that is a plug and play for the stock cool/heat evaporator provided by Ultima. I mention this not so much for my Ultima brothers in England and northern Europe but for those of us in warmer climates the heater is really not necessary. By utilizing all the space available for a cool only evaporator the A.C. will be more efficient and when it hits 110 degrees in So Cal that will be welcomed. lee

Could you post a link to GHR please? Google is failing to find them.
