Am desperately trying to get the aircon/loom/firewalls and luggage pods fitted before next Thursday so body can be prefit.

However, whilst I've managed to work out the routing for most of the aircon pipes, the two small pipes which exit the rear of the blower unit still remain a mystery.

It's obviously vital that I route these in the right place before the body goes on. Can anyone let me know where they go?

I may have solved it - are they simply drainage tubes for water which condenses out of the blower unit?

In which case, i guess I just run a pair of tubes to exit out of the bottom?

The Air-con drain pipes are routed down into the cills, then you drill holes in the cill bottom, make the hole slightly smaller than the pipe, then push it through so it sticks out about 10mm.
I forgot about this and had to do it After It was on the road. A bit of swearing was involved.

Owe, and make sure the pipes are all down hill of the Evaporator ( Black Box ).

You've reminded me! I guessed what they were for but forgot about it. Now I'll have to grovel around under the dash and fit the pipes 'cos the mid body section is fixed. LIke GTRCLIVE this will involve some bad language to assist fitment.

Next question - where to the pair that run down the left hand side connect to in the engine bay?

Is it to the take off valves on the end of the pipes that are connected to the A/C pump?

Thought the pipes on LH side (RH side of your drawing) are for water, AC unit is dual heater/cooler. T pieces are for charging the refridgerant. Please correct me if I am wrong, as I haven't actually got round to fitting this bit yet.

If you want me to come round after work, I should be home by 5.25 but am going out latter.

Uh...Nice drawing Stig. You have the aircon side hoses figured correctly. The condensor mounts in the right side pod, and the dryer mounts on the right side firewall up high. The connections on the left side of the evaporator/blower are for the heater. They connect to the engine and coolant and these hoses travel the down the left side of the car. You have a supply connection from the engine to the heater and a return connection from the heater back to the engine. I'm not sure how Ultima does their connections at the motor, and I have an unusual setup with a connection from a remote thermostat housing supplying the heater. The line back to the engine (which will have lower temp water) can be plumbed back in at the water pump's accessory fitting. They sell 1/2"NPT fittings to heater hose push on fittings for these two connections.
Let me know when you get ready to charge it up with R-134A. I've had a good deal of experience with this. Oh...BTW...do not forget to install the small rubber seals on all your aircon side hoses. If you forget(as I did), then freon will leak out of the fittings when you charge it up. They should be green or blue in color (for R134A). Cheers!

The two pipes that go down the passenger side are for the heater. One pipe connects to the water pump and the other connects next to the thermostat housing on the block. The pipe that connects to the thermostat housing needs to be about 30cm longer than the one to the water pump. You want to make sure that the heater control valve in the passenger side luggage container connects to the thermostat housing on the engine, get it the wrong way round and you will find that you will still get warm air with the valve closed. (note that my American Speed engine had the correct fittings on the head and water pump to attach the Ultima 15mm hoses with jubilee clips)

Thanks chaps, it was the LH side of the car that got me confused, but that makes sense now. I'm just going to install the LH pipes in a loop ie. uncut in the engine bay so I can trim them to length later on when I have the engine installed.

Thanks again - I'm off down the workshop now after spending 2.5 hours labelling the loom!!!
