I'm having trouble locating a new set of rears (335 30 18's) ideally proxes R888's.
Any ideas? even better if they were in Kent.

been trying to find some for a customer over the last couple of months and failed.
beware of web sites listing them as they take your money but don't tell you they can't get them until you complain.

Yeah it’s getting hard to get track tyres in 18”.

If you can find a US supplier who will send to the UK you can pick up a few brands, including r888r’s, as mentioned above they’re not available in Europe cos of our daft (for premium brands) new tyre laws

I have a pair of brand new R888s 335/30/18 if you want to make an offer for goods plus transport? They were new last year and have sat inside since, due to GTR not being ready to use with it's own new shoes

What particular tyre laws make them unable to import the desirable tyres sizes for us?

Just been looking. Seems R888R's are available in 335 30 18 and 255 35 18 (not 245 but a bit more rubber up front should only help and radius only 3mm bigger)

Looks a perfect solution and I think they are highly rated...... But the rears only seem to be available in US..... Wondering how difficult it would be to import them ? Or get them in UK?

We found plenty of places that listed them but they were not available when you tried to place an order. In one case we place an order online and payment taken. Then many days later when they had not arrived we had an email saying they were awaited from the supplier. Again (now weeks later) they said they could not get them so refunded. They still have them listed.

Useful tit bit... My local place found that after tyre fitting, it would only fit on their balancing machine, backwards with a bigger cone adapter....
