Is anyone planning (risking) booking Le Mans for 2021? The government are currently telling us its illegal to travel or go on holiday and not to book anything. I'm hoping things will be a little easier by June and pressure from the travel industry persuades the government to relent. Having missed 2020, I've taken the plunge and paid a deposit for camping 🏕
I have tickets and camping rolled over from 2021, but traveling from the US may still be a challenge. The French don't seem to be on top of COVID vaccinations and most of the Americas are predicting September bfore the greater proportion of the populous is vaccinated. I would not be surprised to see implementation of a policy of proof of vaccination as a requirement for international travel.
I know racers here whom have packed up cars and shipping across the pond for Spa & LMC, so they at least are confident the event will proceed this year, however, with most sporting events the spectator participation is still very limited or non existent.
