That is what i find weird too because the box is decined to be used in a certain position to get good Lubrication and now you just turn that upside down
please find the story from the guys at rennsportsystems

Hi Steve,
Thanks again. Unfortunately, I can't get to that website, though I did find the main site:
www.rennsportsystems.com/
but I can't get to most of the articles that are linked on the main site. It says that those sites cannot be found on my server... whatever.
Anyway, when I read Andy's reply, my thought was exactly what you posted, namely if the chassis can be modified to fit the tranny right side up. I, too, thought that lubrication would be a problem for the tranny mounted upside down, but I guess that if that were the case, then countless Ultima owners would be killing transmissions left and right... Still, it seems weird.
Regards,
Miguel
Hi Miquel
You should send an email to the guys from Rennsport
they always reply real quickly
and i think looking at pictures of the Chassis that it is possible to modify it to get the transmission mounted corectly
thus lowering the centre of gravety
and geting better driveshaft angles
would be the best
but i am afraid that it will interfere with the bottem wich must be a flat surface to keep the ground effect
otherwise you loose a lot of airo downforce
