Ultima's on TV in USA

I don't know if any you other U.S. guys know this but, every episode of Popular Hot Rodding TV shows a brief clip of a yellow GTR on a Road Course at the beginning of the show. This show is televised on TNN Saturdays and Sundays. Also the K&N air filter commercials shown on various channels show a brief clip of their GTR race car negotiating a curve.

Yes, I did notice the commercial. That Ultima on the K&N air filter commercial actually raced in the Daytona series for 2002. Because of some trouble I think with the engine, they were forced to retire early. There was one race where the Ultima actually qualified first. One of the drivers of the car was an executive of the company that didn't have a whole lot of driving experience. I don't think the car was driven to it's full potential based on the simple fact that the drivers didn't have much racing experience.
