Cable shifter on a G50

Come on the dash looks like ----- well you work it out.

Ultima use a Cable change on there Getrag box because it was designed with one on the Porsche. Makes sense, so if your useing a G50 ( Porsche original Rod Linkage ) whats wrong with the Rod linkage, works well on my car!

PS GTD40 tryed a cable change setup with the Renault box (Original Renault was a rod), But funny enough all the race boys changed it to a rod linkage.

I bought a Tornado rod gearlink and modified it to fitt my KVA GT40. It could have been better but at the time it was the only on I could find.

May I ask what are you doing with a Renault Box?

Hi andy ,the yellow peril is not really doing much at the momentI`m just sourcing bits ,got my engine&gearbox and waiting on a lovely little delivery from machine mart one engine lift, engine stand and the all important air rivet gun also the yellow chassis is about to become black thanks to the local powder coater
