This modified front (albeit the side winglets, but this is a track car...) and despite the large lower air intakes looks softer with more flowing curves and definitely less chunky than the standard clip IMO. The light covers more modern looking and in tune with current times

The car has been built to be the fastest possible on circuit whilst still being road legal - still has aircon! The car has to be a road car to be elligible for Time Attack series.

SS built the car for me to contest Time Attack UK (And Dutch Time Attack) and the Castle Combe GT series.

Active rear aero, 700hp, 920kg and wind tunnel proven diffuser/flat floor/dive planes. With a top National driver we are in with a shout of winning Time Attack and running with Bob Lights lap record at Castle Doom in the Stealth race car. (Offhand I think it was 1.01 )..Flicking off 12 degrees of wing on the straights will be an awesome advantage.....

good to hear, maybe I can see that car in the flesh then in 2011
this year I did some Time attack runs on Assen TT circuit just for fun and driving some laps, but on ordinary Falken FK452 (in my Hartge Z3) road tires and not going for the max, but great fun I had.
Maybe next year again when I feel to it.

It twisted so much that I spun it 180 deg with my instructor on board.

It is so predictable and forgiving on the limit and great fun.

Out again on 1st Dec for the last time this year before the refurb.

They are Simmons Wheels model FR18. Australian company that has since shut down. Another company has bought all the moulds and equipment and will be making them again starting next year.

I thought those were intercoolers for the turbo?

The extra radiator is a heat exchanger for the air-to-water intercooler.

Anyone noticed yet although a great build, they have bolted the steering wheel on the wrong way round???
