Remember Stig. "Power is nothing without control". Maybe the owner had very little power, but absolutely no control.

I heard that it was possible to crash whilst braking (badly) - i.e. negative power.

It's very easy to crash while braking. In fact, I would estimate that in about 95% of crashes, the driver has his foot firmly planted on the middle pedal at the moment of impact

Don't laff but I've seen a Chevy in a Metro and it had s--t brakes as well. But Boy could it do a Quick 1/4.

Well, in defence of the Metro l once owned one, the first brand new car l owned in fact. lt was a replacement for the mini l turned over but mine had a 600bhp supercharged chevy in it.
Seriously probably one of the worst cars l ever drove and in reference to Stigs picture, l thought they were built like that....
