I have the same fire extinguisher system as Stig but do not want to commit my valuable luggage space by installing it in the side pod.
I don’t have the body yet so it is not easy to know what space there is elsewhere but I think from the pictures that the tank would fit directly over the steering rack universal joint. This would partially obscure both the master cylinders and the battery but would be high enough above them to not be a problem. I would also need to find alternative homes for the brake reservoir and washer bottle.
The system is OMP 4.25 Litre and the tank is 160mm diameter by 320 long.
Can anybody tell me if it will fit or does the body and its air scoop get in the way.

Steve: Have a look to see if the extinguisher will fit vertically on the rear bulkhead low down between the seats and just above the handbrake cables. I fitted mine here and it is out of the way of everything. However, my extinguisher is slightly smaller than yours and is electrically operated.

I have not seen what size exinguisher yo have, however I remeber there was some space in the footwell between the 2 passengers. Maybe I am wrong and its not as much as I remeber?

It appears there is some space between the front wheel well, and luggage container that can be accessed from the inspection panels, or some other method. I'll be investigating this as soon as I finished doing the other 247 items on the list.

I looked at fitting it in the passenger footwell (as Javier has done). But, you'll need to use an electrical system not mechanical as it uses a shorter bottle. The handle with the mechanical system gets in the way of the clutch pedal otherwise.

Still, what really put me off this was people kicking it the whole time as they try and brake for me!
