A little bit off topic, but I just thought I'd say "well done" to our very own Stig, who managed to convince the lovely Helen to marry him.

I don't think he even needed to drug her first.

Congratulations- when did you pop the question?

I suppose you will have to sell the engine to pay for the wedding. Will £5,000 cash do?

'Ultima'.

Congratulation Stig & Helen.

Let me guess what the wedding car will be..
begins with a U ends in GTR.

Congratulations to you both.

Where did you find each other, both interested in motorsports. This has got to be a union that will result in a new British World champion.

Do you want a guard of honour made-up of Ultimas.

Now that would make for some great photos.

Congratulations guys, don't let the preparations get in the way of your other love at the moment though CJ. We are all waiting to see that beast on the road.

Congratulations to you both. What excellent news to start the new year with.

I have a "nice" Citroen XM Diesel Estate which would make a luurvly family car when your ready for the kids bit. Would gladly accept a straight swap for your engine. Then Helen could push the kids around in your new Ultima buggy as without the engine it would be quite light. Simply remove the spoiler and add some handles to the original brackets and there ya go !

Congratulations.

Maybe you should get married at Silverstone or some other track. It would then be good excuse for us all to come and hoon around.

Good luck for the future.

Thanks all!!!

I'm very lucky to have a 'fiancé' who's as mad about cars as I am. When she was young she had a Lamborghini calender and posters all over her room

We met at the track as she competes in the same series as me and is no slow lady!!

Needless to say the wedding car is going to be a 2-seater (on her insistance). The big day will be in the 1st 2 weeks of October once the racing season is out of the way!!!!

Thanks again chaps and chapesses

I'm sure that she'll appreciate you calling her old. Could this be the shortest engagement in history?

'Fiancé'? So she's a man? Or did you mean 'fiancée'?
