CJ, Will your car be ready and cleared SUV in time for the VW meet on the 2nd Feb 2003?

Just got to see that engine and the noise from it and belts e.t.c.

As I am local to you, would there be any chance of popping over sometime to look at your car and maybe talk some car stuff. You said on your site that the engine is hopefully going in this weekend, so I take it you will be up to your ears in it, but if you need any help, I will greatfully offer.

Stig l am amazed you can contain yourself. l had mine on the road the moment l could.

Just 'cos it's not goling to be road legal isn't to say that it won't be used I want to get a feel for it on track first where I can familiarise myself with the handling/performance without too much traffic!

Can't fit the engine at the weekend as I'm missing a couple of bits and the factory is out of stock at the mo. :frown:

Will be fitting fuel pumps/lines, oil cooler, aircon rad etc. all ready for the engine to go in.

The workshop is getting to be quite a visitor centre! I've got Dave Patterson coming over too.
