Ok, we have all heard of the Bugatti Veyron that is soon to be released. The sticker price of a Veyron is too high to even consider, so I will never have one. But performance numbers seem pretty good, 0-124 in less than 7 seconds. What engine bhp would an Ultima need to have the same kind of performance numbers? Ok, here's another one, the Mac F1 goes from 0-100 in 6.3 seconds, how long does it take a 534 horsepower Ultima(NA) to get to 100 mph?

The performance figures for that F1 was for the only road legal le-man car, the official time for the Mac F1 down the quarter is 11.1second.

I've bored others before with this info, but on my first attempt down the strip I did 11.4seconds and in the 1/8th mile hit 100mph in 7.52 seconds. It will go faster as I didn't have any practice and didn't get the best start ever.

My car is a can-am with an AS 500bhp engine with an upgraded solid lifter cam, they dyno'd it at 526Bhp and 515lft torque.

More interstingly would be to pose the question, which would be faster round corners, my money would be on the bugatti not being as hot as the Macca of the Ultima!

Then ask yourself....what would you do with the spare £300+K you had left from not buying either the Macca or Bugg ??
I know one thing for sure, if you spent that saved money on the Ultima..it would certainly piss past both of them

Don't forget the Buggati is over £600k and the Macca's now sell for £million.

Whilst we can all aspire to beating the Macca as it is acheivable, I doubt you will ever get an Ultima to match or beat the Buggati with its 4 wheel drive.

However their are mid engined 4 wheel drivetrains arund, and with a set of turbo's on the chevy.............. Come on someone's got to have the money to give it a go.
