Anyone remove the brake servo mounting brackets(flat brackets just behind the front tires on the frame)? Not much use in leaving them attached if you have the AP brakes.

I removed them on the right side as I use this space for the battery.
Will remove the left ones too. A little weight loss

Thats a tough place to get to with the body on. How will you service the battery?

I thought the brackets would be OK for air jack mounts.

Thanks guys
Have been wondering what those brackets were for.
What a great forum. You don't even have to ask a question, and eventually the answer will show up.

Ken,

my sidepods will remain removable but I also think about an access opening at the front of the sidepod to remove the battery via wheelarch. I use a standard car battery which is much cheaper than the race battery the factory offers and (I first couldn´t believe it) not heavier (compared to Red Top 60).

Except the factory no longer supply the Red Top battery. It's now a minute Jet Ski which is about half the size.
