Had a punter round yesterday for the GTR, loved it, the looks, sound etc so I took him for a test drive down some lanes hitting the rev limiter ( 7600 ) in 5th - we do have Ted reputation to inspire too.
It was at this stage he started asking, no demanding, no begging me to slow down and then did not say a word until he left in his Mondeo

Did I over do it ? My wife thinks I did it deliberately to keep the car !!
I thought it was the way to sell HIGH PERFORMANCE cars

l once took a car for a test drive, I forget what it was but certainly nothing inspiring, and l mistook the priority road sign on a narrow bridge, thinking l had priority when in fact the oncoming reliant robin had right of way. We passed at a fair speed and to this day, each time I cross that bridge, l dont know how l missed him as there is only width for one and a half cars. Like Gareths buyer, l declined to purchase.

If that was me I'd have bought it there and then.

I take it was a New Mondeo Company car. Or did he just want a free ride ??

PS keep it up mate...

So why are you selling Gareth?

Not on the look out for something quicker, surely?

Or has the S2000 project got into your veins...

Hi G Man,

I'm new to the forum (in fact this is my first post!) so please excuse the ignorance but I wondered if your Ultima is advertised on the Web anywhere?

I'm currently weighing up one or two options regarding Kit car's and I'm slowly narrowing the list down. At risk of creating extra abuse I am looking at either an Ultima or a Kamala.

Cheers
Robbie

Try here for clasifieds on this site.

You may find that Ultima's cost a lot more than the Kamala, but then so is the peformance.
