I made it about halfway through the review.
If the cables take about 3 weeks of use to "bed in", do they get better or worse after more time?
If I was selling them, I would definitely give them a "service life" equating to about 2 years of typical use, after which "the quality starts to degrade", so you'd better replace them.
For those who can't wait 3 weeks they can use the Blue Horizon ProBurn Cable Conditioning System that "reduces the burn-in time of all cables, and also fully prepares them like no music ever can. Proburn does more than simply synthesise music; using specially-developed technology, the unit generates a sequence of unique ultra-low frequencies to penetrate the core of the conductor, and ultra-high frequencies that penetrate both the conductor and the dielectric."

A veritable bargain at £695.00

eek

The nasty side of me wonders if using this box with components and/or speakers attached will destroy them.
You probably plug the cables to the box and leave the other end un-terminated.

I cannot believe that those speaker cables are on the floor and not on precious wood isolating blocks, eek

Made me think of this. Virtual pint if you know what the image refers to.

They say what exactly is inside the box, reverse engineer and flog it for, oh, £7 for the case and say £6 for the connectors and a few quid for the gubbins inside...... finger in the air, £30.

This really has my bullst meter way off the scale.

Included in the specification:

"Keeps cables performing at their best – condition them for a period of 24 hours, every six to eight weeks, to nullify any negative charges and static problem"

If anybody buys into this crap then they need their bloody head testing.

Nope, but the cable direction clearly matters...

Not quite... it's 16VAC at 200mA, which should be enough to:

That's like those explosive detectors flogged in Iraq at 20k a pop that were actually just a car aerial stuck to a handle.

But how do you burn in the Proburn? Surely they've got that covered too?
