I'm torn, and dangerously low on knowledge in this area.

I'm looking for a sound bar/streaming device for my living room.

It will mainly be used for watching TV, playing Xbox, the odd moving and streaming music from Apple devices

Would prefer not to have a sub, but that's because I'm in a semi. I've narrowed it down to three

Sonos playbar
Naim mu-so
Yamaha 2500 (got sub, but only one with BT/AirPlay by them)

What are your guys thoughts

Budget about 800

Monitor Audio ASB-2 might fit the bill? Just had £200 knocked off the price so comes in on budget.

One recently for sale on AV Forums classifieds too

The Mu So is an epic bit of kit but somewhat overkill for a sound bar. I have been looking at one for its musical abilities but went for a wireless speaker instead. I would try a Yamaha 2500, an amazing sound and loads of connections. The sub is very subtle and wireless. The Monitor ASB-2 is wonderful but somewhat large. It needs to be wall mounted and the cables 'hidden'.

The ASB-2 is certainly a big lad! About a metre wide. Can sit on a cabinet as comes with a stand, wall mount is extra cost

The new Arcam Solo looks wonderful and I believe has a top quality sound too, but is 100cm long!
