m&k k7 speakers worth buying still?

M&k k7 speakers seem to be cheap on eBay and was thinking of finally getting a 2.1 setup sorted would they still be decent or would I be better off with something like the q accoustic 3020. I know the k7 only go down to 80hz so really do need a sub to fill in the bottom end. But m&k are propper ht kit.

Opinions?

Yes as I have no idea technically I understand HT and audio but practical experience is limited last set of speakers were xtz 93 but they went a few years ago as the last house was too small and it annoyed the neighbors

I don't know these speakers, but speakers don't generally get worse. Often newer stuff is worse, typically due to stuff getting smaller and smaller.

I bought them but the seller has vanished off eBay but I do have a tracking number so maybe I will get bricks in a box lol
