Sky deals anyone?
Discussion
My 12 month 50% off deal is coming to an end, the link I used last year no longer works unsurprisingly so wondered what the best I can expect this time around? I've got the standard Sky Q Bundle with Sky Q Silver (+3 Minis) and grandfathered in F1 channel which will rise to £56 (£44 + £12) later this month.

There's always the option of paying full price
For what its worth, not so long ago I was working as part of the project team set up to reduce the amount of discounts they were giving away to customers who expected it year after year
I left the company before the final plan was complete, but interested to see how whether they actually stick to the principles that were defined at the start, would expect that to take effect this year ..

Most of the discounts seem to be in the realm of 20-30% or half price ADSL broadband when previously it was free broadband. For what its worth, not so long ago I was working as part of the project team set up to reduce the amount of discounts they were giving away to customers who expected it year after year

I’ve just left sky after 10 years, I got pissed of with their st customer experience during my house move. They sent my sky hub to the old address, they changed the activation date of the fibre broadband without telling me and the stupidly long customer service calls drove me up the wall, so mid call I told them to cancel as I was not entirely pleased to have a sky dish on the front of my house either.
Maybe if the price was better and or I had a better experience, I may have stayed.
I think I’m just going to use now tv for entertainment and documentaries. But it’s nice to think how much I’m saving by ditching sky

Sky have got a half reasonable deal on for new and existing customers at the moment, Sky Q with full Sky Sports and Movies for £45 https://www.sky.com/shop/offers/flash-sale
I'm spending £56 after my last discount expired for multi-room with and old entertainment package that includes grandfathered Sky Sports F1 entitlement and I thought this was going to save some money as well as getting full Sky Sports/Movies, but alas once you add on £12 multi-room for the Q Minis, plus a fiver each for kids channels and box sets that we currently have its still £11 more expensive for me unfortunately.

My deal is coming to an end from April — £140 pcm then wow that’s big. Land line £18.99
Sky sports complete pack £28
Sky sports HD £6
Sky fibre unlimited £22
Box sets £41.5
Sky cinema £11
Sky q multiscreen £13
Total £140.49.
What can I realistically get discounted from this deal? Note we’re very happy with sky - but this price is high nearly £1.7k a year...
Plus Amazon Prime £79
No netflix

What does that include?
For £30 pm I'd be interested in going back.
How is it right a new customer gets it for £30pcm yet a loyal customer has to subsidise you paying £140pcm?For £30 pm I'd be interested in going back.
However, I'll take advantage of it if it is available. £140 a month for Sky is madness in my opinion. It just isn't worth it.
£30pcm would be roughly what NOW TV costs me (if I bother getting any sport during the month) so if I was able to get full access to SKY at a similar price, then it's a straight swap for me and worth doing. Any more than that and it is not.

It isn't and is one of the reasons I chucked in my subscription after 20 years.

You get land line and fibre unlimited plus the TV package for £30pcm—- Jesus. However, I'll take advantage of it if it is available. £140 a month for Sky is madness in my opinion. It just isn't worth it.
