Be aware of any Sky 'offers'. I had an email when I signed up for Q at the start of the year. Offered free Cinema for a month then six months at £5.
Signed up, but they've been charging me £19 for it from the start and it's still not sorted. Can't get through on the phone now. Check your bills (On top of the 10% price increase)

I’m so glad we have sky - we used it all the time previously anyway but now even more so.

I had an email from them today about pausing sports if we wanted to but also movies the actual cinema premiers sky have stated they will be launching the film on sky movies on the day it had been planned to be launched in the actual cinema. So we do not have to miss out on our movies fix.

FYI if you have sky sports you can 'pause' the subscription until the live sports starts again.

But you have to call - I’ve not got through yet.

Then again they are showing rep seats of great F1 races and other sports currently.

Plus as has been stated the F1 teams are ALL trying to built ventilators as such the &10 a month which will part fund them is money well spent IMHO.

I've tried to pause my Sky Sports 8 different times now, but get the following error message:

"Sorry but we are having technical difficulties

Unfortunately, we have not been able to proceed with your order. Please try again later."

Is my only option to call up?

Lots of reports that Chrome actually doesn’t work well and some have had better luck via a mobile browser.

No luck on safari or Firefox, or on mobile either....

any good deals going for existing customers? I am at the end of my contract, and discounts have been removed.

Been with Sky for TV only for around 8 years. Just wondering if I can get any deals to reduce monthly cost again, and move to Sky Q etc.

Anyone?

Our contract comes to an end soon. We have HD and Entertainment. Currently paying £29.20 after the recent price increase. I would like Sky Q, any deals etc going around?

Aside from the challenge of getting a good deal, I’m pretty sure Q install needs an engineer visit, and I would suspect they may not be doing them just now.

We had one booked for last Wednesday, had to move it as we were working from home and didn’t want the distraction, but they didn’t say anything about cancelling to us, I cancelled it the night before too. It’s rebooked for a week Thursday, again, no word from them. I’ve also seen sky vans out and about.

Saying that, I can see them just not turning up!

I just used their website to pause Sky sports till the sport resumes
dropped bill from £48 PM to £1.27 in May and £27.99 in June
decent saving and saves all the cancel package etc.

BT SPORT are offering 1month credit to your bill or donate same amount to NHS foundation.
applied via BT.com.
seems reasonable till sport resumes as and when.

Did the BT credit thing yesterday, and paused Sky Sports last week.
I just had a look at my last and future payments - March was 66, going forward the site says April 20.74, May 35, June 48.60, July 69. How the heck do they come to those numbers? I have Entertainment and Sport only, no phone or broadband so nothing variable. Wierd.

Because it's all billed in advance so it's a combination of credits for part-months already billed. You can see the breakdown on their website in your bills section.
