If it’s a Sky one I’d be interested! Could pm you the postage?
Yes, fully sky certified. Will continue our email convo. I'll need to check if it's mine to give away or it's just rented. I can't remember, MissChief?

I'll only ask that if it doesn't help your situation then you offer it up to someone else for the same deal.

Hi Davie, Is there any offers for new customers over and above what is on the Sky website? Im after TV & BB but not fussed about kids, sports or movies. Might look at taking movies if there wasnt a huge uplift in price

If it's a white one like a Q mini box then it belongs to Slt I'm afraid Davie.

Yeah, I thought about this the moment I sent it. I forgot we are renting the gear from here on.

Shame really as it's good as new, will hand it in to Livi.

I'm not sure mate, I don't follow the prices. Drop me or MissChief a mail and if there's an offer I'm sure we'll oblige.

That’s not actually correct, booster 2s were gifted to customers and aren’t expected to be returned at the end of contract, booster 4s are lent to customers at no cost but remain the property of sky and you are emailed the terms and conditions outlining this when a booster 4 is installed on your account.

Booster 2s look like white mini boxes and sit flat, booster 4s sit upright and are unique design wise

It’s been nearly a year since I was involved in Q stuff so that may have changed.

Can anyone confirm what is a "new customer" for sky. We had sky and cancelled as we were not watching much and prices offered didn't justify it. Do i have to wait x months before joining as new customer? Thanks.

From personal experience of moving house to an area with no VM coverage, I found the packages for phone and BB pretty much the same across the board, so went with Sky. Note their router is crap, but if you’ve got your own kit it can generally be made to work

I'm just looking at the sky site right now as I'm still on legacy F1/HD deal - I mostly want entertainment plus F1 (in HD of course as sky seem to think its still 2010) - as far as I can see it's a few quid difference to just get the whole q/sports/films £46/18 months?

Any ideas or press the button?

Edit - is the £46 inc HD? Sky website very unclear.

You won't be able to buy or subscribe to anything SD these days. HD is the default, and only offering i believe. So any price quoted should reflect that.

Existing customer offers are there but not particularly attractive but I, or a few others on this thread can send you the deal and you can take it up, or not.

Under "customise options" it offers HD for £6/month

I've just been offered a £24 sky remote that I do not need for "free" as a Sky VIP member.

Now I know it isn't £24 to them, but I'd prefer £2 a month of my bill.

Any idea why Sky are doing this? It's not often you get anything that is truly free these days so what's the catch?

To make you think they are generous to thier loyal subscribers... Of course we know better. In fact they know that we know better, so all a bit of a dance. Like you say, taking a few quid off each month would be more appreciated.

The standard Sky package prices are more simple now
My SkyQ + 2 extra boxes is £44.50 a month
Everything except sport & movies. Although I can add on movies for £9 a month for 18 months
I think it’s pretty good as an official price, can’t be arsed with haggling, just pressed a few buttons to get this
Openreach BB is rubbish at mine, so have Virgin fibre

I'd expect BB to be included for £44.50

So two questions
Am I being shafted?
How do I tell if I’m out of contract?
(Attachment should show I pay £125/month)
