Sky deals anyone?
Discussion
We've been with Sky for nearly 10 years and I've about had enough of them to be honest. We currently pay £44/mth for Sky Variety plus HD and I've never bothered to haggle (more fool me!). Got a call a couple of weeks ago asking if I wanted to upgrade to Sky Q. Whilst speaking to the Sky rep I went online and saw the Sky Variety package for £20pm, £5pm HD plus free Q box. I said that I'd like that deal please but as I wasn't a new customer she couldn't offer it to me. So I've cancelled. They've offered me 30% off my current package.
Nearing the end of my first year with Sky, got a very decent deal at £30 per month for sky Q with all channels but it's going to double after the year is up and I'm not up for paying 60 quid a month and am willing to cancel if they can't do a lot better for me.
What's the best I can expect?

Stuff all.
We've been with SKY since long before SKY+ let alone HD and all the current Q gubbins and finally had enough of it this year after I realised that despite forking out over £80 a month for TV alone, then I still couldn't watch the Ashes because the rights had gone to BT Sport, that a was the moment the straw broke the Camel's back.
So, given that we've been customers for probably 20 years and have spent thousands over the years, then I expected we'd get some form of "please stay" offer.
As it was, we were offered 30% off one package, giving a grand total of £10 a month off. Oddly enough, I didn't take them up on this offer, so walked away and won't be going back.
An odd business proposition frankly, but it's their business and they can do what they like, however, so can I, so I've put £25 a month into Netflix and a Now TV box (yes I'm aware it's a SKY product) and I get everything I want (and more) and manage to save myself £55 a month.
I'm still trying to work out their business model for this, but hey ho.

I’m at the end of my Sky deal. Currently have sky broadband, phone and sky family package. £72 a month. Quite fancy upgrading to Sky Q with multiroom. Sky website says £82 a month with £70 installation. Is it worth trying to cancel and get some money off, if so how much should I expect to pay???.
Afternoon All
Anyone got any ideas on good deals?
I`m looking at upgrading to Sky Q plus 2 mini boxes, also taking phone and unlimited fibre
Apparently I`m VIP as I`ve been with them 18 years, so qualify for free installation (have to upgrade on-line not over phone). But they want £99 for the second mini box installation and £9.95 for delivery of the router.
Package price with Sky entertainment (£20), Kids (£5), Box sets (£5), HD (£5) Cinema (£10) and multiroom (£12) - TOTAL: £57
Fibre Unlimited (£22.50 - £8.99 offer = £13.51 + Line Rental @ £18.99 - TOTAL: £32.50
TOTAL for everything: £89.50pm (18 month deal) + £108.95 up front
Does this sound ok, or am I being taken for a mug?
