1970's fan here, this is what I have running on the 'analogue' side of the spare room:

Trio KA-2000A
Trio KT-1000A
Roberts internet radio (used as HD radio source (320kb AAC for BBC 6 music)
Raspberry Pi running Volumio with HD dac, 2TB disc (most 1970's live stuff in FLAC)
Trio KA-5700 amplifier
Trio KT-5500 tuner
Trio KX-530 cassette deck
Arcam T61 AM/FM Tuner
Arcam CD72 CD player
Revox A77 MK4 2-track
Project turntable
Akai 8080 Receiver
Rotel RA-310 amplifier
Rotel RT-320 tuner
Eltax Silverstone speakers
Sony VO-2630 Umatic Videocassette recorder (perfect picture quality, way better than VHS!)
Sony Triniton 8" Composite Video BVM.

Nearly all of it is in service and all the inputs and outputs can be switched around fairly easily. I have restored and serviced most of the units myself.

On the 'digital' side of the room (not shown here because its boring to look at!) I have:

Humax Freesat HD Satellite receiver/recorder
Logic 1080p TV
Orbitsound soundbar and subwoofer
PC with HD soundcard

I love the 1970's and am most certainly lost in music!

Denon XT-520BT amp into Cambridge S-30 speakers and Cambridge S-90 sub.

Needs upgrading some time soon, but nicely balanced and has done very well for 10+ years. Ideal spare room or budget set up and 100x the sound quality from TV or laptop speakers. Loud enough to annoy the neighbours.

What? And you don't have a 1970s turntable? Disgraceful! wink

Mind you, I have 29 turntables currently, so maybe I've gone a bit too far the other way.

To have 29 turntables is quite impressive. To have the space for 29 turntables is incredibly impressive.

To have 29 turntables that work would be VERY impressive!

(I thought having two was slightly indulgent, but not now)

It's a beauty .. but it doesn't sound quite as good as the Trio kit. I like the neat styling of it, have an 8030 too, it has a slightly lower power output.

I think that the use of 'complete' might be stretching it slightly hehe

Ahhh but what version of SP25, I started with a MKIII then upgraded to a MKIV, at one point I had the MKIII and two MKIV's (that was in the '70's). Sadly the site of the Garrard factory is now a Halfords and a The Range shops.

All the ones that aren't current restoration projects work perfectly!

Oh, and after Sunday and the National Vintage Communications Fair in Warwickshire, the total is now 31...

True but, as it happens, SME, who now own the Garrard name, are not only bringing out new Garrard models, but are apparently intending to set up their production in, or near, Swindon once more.

I was clearing out some junk recently and found this from the days when I had a (then) brand new LP12.

I thought I'd put it up here as someone might find it useful.... I don't think it's particularly illuminating, but someone might want it.
