You don't say which Dynuadios you have, but it'll be interesting to see if you think the Kefs are better.
I used to have a pair of Dynaudio 52s and they were pretty good speakers.
Sorry I should have said, they are Dynaudio DM 2/7, they are a large-ish bookshelf and a very good speaker to be fair to them, I am a big fan of Dynaudio. I've just read so much about the Kef I'm intrigued to hear them myself. You don't say which Dynuadios you have, but it'll be interesting to see if you think the Kefs are better.

I think this is really great. I love seeing older hi fi gear in use.
I recently put a 2nd hand seperates system together for the conservatory. Only basic stuff on a cheap as chips budget but it sounds great. The daughter likes to go in there and use it and its even led to buying a few LP's as there is an old Dual Turntable sat on top.
I love building cheap little systems like that out of 2nd hand stuff, swapping out different items etc to see how they compare, I just don't have much room to do it at the moment the rack has gone replaced with a toy box for the new child!I recently put a 2nd hand seperates system together for the conservatory. I have recently picked up a pair of KEF LS50 speakers which I've read so much about, I have not heard them yet but if they live up to the hype they may replace the Dynaudios.
The LS50's are great but I guess you could say I am a fanboy. First time I heard them was in a hotel conference room and powered by a fairly simple set as a demo and they filled the room in a way that made them sound a lot bigger than they are. As a wireless solution I really like the wireless variant. So simple yet sound excellent.
PC system
Behringer something or other USB soundcard (for digital out)
Beresford Caiman II DAC
NAD D3020 Amp
DALI Zensor 1 Speakers (on stands with marble slabs underneath)
Beyerdynamic DT990 headphones
(If anyone is intered, the PC is an old i5 4690 with 16gb RAM, GTX980Ti, 500Gb SSD, 34" Acer X34A monitor).

She is good or lucky as I like to tell her but she loves her music to, the NightWish Vinyl are hers
My wife really likes that stand you have. I'm guessing very expensive but we are on the look out for something like that. So far I have seen a german design that is quite snazzy to hold the TV
The unit I have seen is basically a foot wide vertical strip with a curved look. It can extend height wise so you have a choice of height. The base of the unit is thin but extremely as in very heavy as its filled I think with sand or such like.
It can also be screwed/ bolted down to the floor. The back has a clip in rear cover that allows all cabling to be hidden inside it.
There are clip in bungs / plugs whatever that give you a choice of cable exit positions. The top section has a multi size bracket that accommodates most VESA variants. It also allows some tilt and twist ability.
The idea is that you can then fit another table or unit under it. The table/unit can go near to the wall if it has enough clearance under it to allow the base bracket to fit under.
Any clues where to look please ?

Speakers which were cherry before .
The unit was from Next originally I don't know if they still do it , there is also a centre support you can't at the back
Of the unit which is for hiding cables
The wrap is just normal car vinyl of eBay so you can do it any colour you want plus If one day I get fed up of the
Black glass I can always wrap change to another colour
I just had a quick look on Gumtree and there are lots of tables like the one I have for cheap
Here you can see were I didn't wrap

Nice set up. But one question. Why the completely awful Rockwell phonestage crap?
What makes you say that Sir I find it gives a very clean detailed sound and well matched with the ATC gear They don't colour the sound like so many others do

Just seemed a bit low rent in the context of the rest of the system. Moon amps/phonos go particularly well with those revealing ATCs, which can do shrill if you are not careful. The sound of silence in fact.
The Rialto when teamed up with the MC1 I'd say is pretty dam impressive and suits the Benz Wood SL output well Edited by Skyman on Saturday 17th August 18:32
After all HiFi News called the Rialto Outstanding HiFi News said it was Sublime but that was some years ago now
I've had this setup for over 5 years and never felt like it was missing anything
As for amps the ATC is a power house with super control I don't think I've ever had it above half way
Normally my Orbe is a full fat model and when I move again I hope to have the space for my rack again
Next I'd like the ATC Sub for the AV side and better rear speakers apart from that I'm happy with it all

What are your main speakers? Especially the mid drivers look like they might contribute to a pretty epic sound experience so I'd like to find out more.
Hi Sir their ATC SCM40s Mk1 the Mk2 is out now the mid driver is pretty special the 40s are the cheapest speaker to use this driver The drivers are all made in-house at there factory in Gloucestershire
