the limiting factor is bluetooth a wired set at the equivalent price should always sound better
I am bias as I us B&W P5 s2 and B&W CM1 s2 speakers at home

Wireless quality depends largely on the codec being used - are we talking home wireless headphones which link to your hifi with a propietary radio link or Bluetooth ones for use with your smartphone on the move?
If Bluetooth then you need to mix your choice of phones and source carefully. You can get the best quality headphones which support AptX or LDAC but if your phone (eg an iPhone) only supports AAC then you’ll end up with a very st sounding SBC setup (the most basic Bluetooth audio standard). I use Sony WH-1000XM2 because they support all current standards, but they would sound significantly better with an LDAC supporting Walkman or android phone than with my iPhone 8+ Which only supports 250kbps AAC
