after some real world experiences from people that i trust marginally more than random (bots/employees?) that post on the general internet.

Kitchen has finally been planned, booked and paid for - being done end of august.

We already have sonos play:1's in other rooms, a connect in the hoffice and planning on getting the 'beam' (soundbar) for the bedroom so quite heavily invested in the Sonos Eco-system.

We've knocked the kitchen and dining room through so we have a 6m x 4m kitchen area that i want to put 2-4 ceiling speakers in to be run from either a connect:amp or a connect via a separate amp (in a kitchen cupboard 'stack' that is floor to ceiling allowing easy access to the ceiling speaker cables etc so nothing is on show)

We like our music and like nice things but this project has already topped £25k so i don't really want to remortgage for the speakers.

Equally, i don't want to order some £40 jobbies from ebay and find out (predictability) that i'd get better results playing the music through an old telephone.

I'm sure i have asked this question before but ii think tech has moved on quite significantly and there are plenty of new users on the forums these days.

I suppose budget would be somewhere around £100 each. Any suggestions / experiences please?

For the money, these are very good and should be within budget.

If you have rooms above the kitchen, you should also fit fire hoodys.

Agree with the above. Very very good!

Hoods are a very good idea to stop upwards audio too. They do work.
