Is OLED worth the extra money?

It's a media centre, if you have a NAS with files (music, films, photos etc) on, it will display them nicely in a library and play them.
Thanks.I still am not at all sure what to do with my NAS, so just stream everything as needed. I should probably look at downloading it and so not having to worry about my mediocre download speed when watching.

I’m thinking about buying a 65” OLED LG, Is the CX worth the extra £300 compared to the BX?
Some people say no, others say the A9 processor is much better for motion.
Did you ever get an answer to this question? Some people say no, others say the A9 processor is much better for motion.
Currently pondering CX vs Sony A8 for exactly the same reason (although the Sony lacks HDMI 2.1, except eARC)
I have a B gen chip and I bought it on the basis motion processing is not important as I switch off all motion smoothing effects (: and all mpeg filters etc I want my TV as pure as possible). LG B9 65 OLED.
If I use a new input where any kind of image or particularly motion processing is enabled I notice of immediately. Horrible.

I can only go 50" and the budget is 700-1000, went into richer sounds and asked which out of the LG/Samsung range would they buy given the budget, etc. He stated that we should realistically go for LG 50NANO806PA as it's good enough for us as we don't watch much TV so won't notice the difference between the middle model and the top model on Nano over OLED.
I asked the guy which he would buy himself and he threw a curveball and suggested Panasonic TX50JX850B actually has a better picture quality over the LG.
Is there any way to get an OLED down to 50" and below £1k and not compromise with the entry-level?
(Note that the salesperson doesn't have an OLED himself and which he likes his tech he can't justify the price jump, but does have a stereo that costs mid 4 figures, he said it was similar to us, dont watch much)
With going cheaper the OH has said I can go Sonos Arc as a soundbar/music system for the lounge... which is a little win.

If you don't watch much, and do not have money to burn, then OLED is an uncecessary luxury tbh.I asked the guy which he would buy himself and he threw a curveball and suggested Panasonic TX50JX850B actually has a better picture quality over the LG.

No I never did, however last year I ended up purchasing a 65 Sony LED xh9505. For LED it’s pretty amazing and the blacks are very good. There’s a few comparison videos on YouTube I watched.Currently pondering CX vs Sony A8 for exactly the same reason (although the Sony lacks HDMI 2.1, except eARC)
I decided to buy the Sony LED because of my concerns with screen burn.

Plus I get 9% cashback so it makes it more palatable.

Got the money... 50 inch is the OHs input as is the budget... But if there is the equivalent oled near enough the £900 then I will put extra in for 50 inch if it's noticeable in upgrade.

The LG CX goes down to 48" size, with current offers should be around the £1k mark.Plus I get 9% cashback so it makes it more palatable.
