43", but we sit pretty close. Any bigger would be too big for the room.

40". We can only sit about 7 feet away. Surely viewing distance is critical? I am at this moment looking at a 26" computer screen 2 feet away, which is the equivalent of a huge screen 10 feet away.

90", but it's a projector screen setup with a PC etc, so not sure it counts. I don't have a TV.

65.

I regret not buying the 75. I don't even know why I didn't get the 75 frown

43” QLED tucked into an alcove. It goes on for 30 minutes for the kids in the morning and then once they’re down for the night I’ll get a box set going.

The main thing we find weird is how loud other people have the telly! Our Samsung never goes above 10 - that’s plenty.

75 inch and sit about 5 feet away from it. Dont have an issue with the size but the brightness can be a bit much

60” Sony, and we’re about 20ft away... woefully inadequate.

Always go for the biggest you can, arguably the thing that will make the most impact when replacing a TV

An old 43" Panasonic plasma, I've not replaced it because until recently none of the oleds were small enough to fit in the space. One of the new 48" oleds would fit in the space, but we'll be moving soon so I'll probably get a new one then.
I had an old 43" Pioneer plasma and the Sony 55" OLED isn't that much bigger than it in terms of the outline due to massively better screen to frame ratio....

And the OLED is the first screen I've seen that beats the picture quality of the old, best of breed plasmas.

65" OLED.

I was going to buy a 55 but the price difference was negligible.

Took a while to get used to it, seemed like you were in the film.

One upstairs is 32" as that's the width of the sliding wardrobe door. Smaller so sharp picture...

The 55" are just that bit too large to fit in the gap, even the old 43" is tight, a thin framed 48" would just fit though. Believe me I have checked very carefully when new models come out smile

I have a 200 year old cottage, TV is a 55”... seen on the left... anything bigger won’t fit or just wouldn’t look right...

So back in the days of CRT TVs, most people had screens around the 20" mark. I always reckoned if you're going to watch TV, admit it and get the biggest one you can. I think the biggest CRT I found was 28" and it was a beast. Most people thought I was mad, "why do you need a TV that big" " I hope you've got a really big room to put it in". These days I have 43" and I'm quite happy, while all the people who used to have 14" portables as their main TV now have a video wall half the size of their house. Don't quite get it.

I used to have this 24" bundle of joy. Amazing picture.
