Home cinema room build - pro with some am
Discussion
Wrapping is now done, and the lights are pretty much in (I'm still wiring a couple of the floor lights and one was faulty). You can start to see the effect - it is quite subtle and we decided not to go for the LED strips etc., not that I don't think they are cool too!
Here you can see the rear seating area, with power in the floor for the reclining chairs. The finished projector box with the projector installed, as well as the wall lights, downlights and uplighters.
Here's what they've done with the door which is amazing. They even painted the cinema room side of the parliament hinges black, although you can't really see that in the photo light as it is boosting the exposure given how dark the room is!

The primary patch rack has all of the speaker inputs to the left, which in turn feed to the main rack. In the patch panel itself, the top connection is to the projector, the next three are for future expansion (already cabled) and the last one is the uplink from the main incoming switch fo the house. This all feeds to a Unifi Gen 2 16 port switch - which wasn't in the orignal spec and isn't really needed! - this switch also connects to the switch in the rack. At the top of the picture is the power supply for the Lutron blind.
There is a delay in the supply of the blind, so this bit is going to remain unfinished for a while.
And here is the primary rack itself.....from top to bottom.
A couple of blanking plates and the supplier name - I've only cleared it for now as I haven't asked them if I can post anything. Then there is a Furman power conditioner that supplies all the power to the other devices.
Another Unifi Gen 2 16 port switch.
The Control4 automation hub.
Two shelves, the top one for future expansion (my Sky Q box) and the lower one has the Lutron RA4 blind controller and an Apple TV 4K which is the primary source.
Then the Triad Rackamp 700 which is the power amplifier for the Triad sub.
And finally the AV decoding and power amplification (apart from the sub) is an Anthem MRX 1140.

It's a Triad Silver OnWall (although it is fitted 'in' the wall).

The Anthem amp, plus all the Triad speakers were approx £15K, incl VAT. Will get some more progress pics up soon.
Great choice I was powering my Triads with an Anthem, although I still use my MRX for processor duties as ARC is amazing, I've got a sperate Emotiva power amp. I would definitely recommend a strong amp and processor separates if budget allows. Over the weekend they delivered the furniture. The rear seats are the full cinema seat job with powered recline and headrests and cupholders with coolers - as well as USB ports in the arms. Very nice!
The front row sofa is fine from a distance perspective, but if there are people sitting in them, their heads get in the way unless they slouch. But hey, if we didn't have front seats then we could only have four people in there so I don't think we have lost anything. And people will end up slouching anyway!

Looks great. Would you mind sharing the details of the rear seats?
Rear seats we sourced ourselves and they are these ones: Universal Ultimate 4 Cinema ChairsThere are a lot more in the range though, see Deluxe Deco Cinema Seating.
The sofa came from the same place.

Thank you. Are you happy with the quality?
Of the seats? Yes, they work, they are comfortable and do exactly what we need. I probably wouldn't buy the stuff for my living room, but it's perfect for what it is and much much cheaper that most 'cinema seats' which suffer from a similar issue to supercar tax on car parts. If you can make a trip to Windsor, they have pretty much everything on display to try. Or they do video appointments apparently - we live close'ish to Windsor so didn't need that option.

We've had a few delays in finally finishing as
The sub was faulty but has been replaced.
The blind was missing the control unit, awaiting one from Lutron.
People doing the fabric couldn't finish because the blind wasn't fitted, and now we are arranging for them to come back and finish.
One of the floor lights was faulty, awaiting a replacement.
Almost there though.

Well worth a visit to Deluxe Deco.
Notice, I spend most evening's viewing pleasures in that room, and use the middle seat! The leather is relaxing nicely, but would be good if all 3 seats wore evenly.
P.S. I wasn't feeling flush enough to opt for the gadget attachments (wine glass / ipad holder). - Notice the metal discs on the op's armrests. In retrospect I wish I had have gone for that.
P.P.S. The massage feature is pretty rubbish and nothing more than a gimmick for when friends come 'round. Nonetheless it's doing no harm.
P.P.P.S. The armrest glass chillers are too small in circumference. Still looking for some special beer glasses that are slender enough to fit, but not too tall so as to topple over at the slightest knock. The glass chillers are also just a novalty, and I actually tend to use the non'active holder mostly.

I didn't go for those attachments either, at £100 odd for a small table. In fact, I've been trying to search Aliexpress for someone that makes those attachments but I don't think I can find the right words to search for as there a quite a few sofas that feature that aluminium puck with a hole.
Surprised your seats didn't come with the attachment itself though, that was never an option for us - it was only optional whether we bought the table / wine glass holder / gadget stand - which we didn't.
