different sort of tv question

Whats the biggest size of tv screen you can get? Was looking for a 150 inch panasonic but i cant get any info out f them about when i can buy one....it was all promises at first but now nothing! 103 inches are about 40k but is there nothing bigger that anyoe knows of? would be appreciated if anyone in the industrey could shed some light on the situation

As far as display panels go the largest commercially available screen is the Panasonic 103"

LG made a 150" but it never made production.

Yeah that would be the way to go if you want size, you could get some awesome kit it you'r looking at 40k tv's

Ive had projectors before. expensive ones too....didnt like them whatsoever , decided i just wanted a tv screen.

Fair enough, how big is the room it's going in/how far away would you be?

Still "only" 103", but these should be availabe later this year.

103" B&O BeoVision 4, on a motorised floor stand that lifts the TV from the floor when you turn it n. Not sure if it rotates as well.

Interesting. You must have seen the tech specs? Can you post a link? because the info I'd had was that the panel comes from the same factory and all the internals are B&O specific.

You obviously have access to informtaion that proves otherwise, so I'd be interested to see it.

The film is what I was referring to.

Only Panasonic make a film that size.

Ah right. When you said "identical to the Panasonic internally" I figured you meant the internal components were identical to those in the Panasonic.

It's no secret B&O use Panasonic commercial panels in all their plasmas. The panels are zero dead pixel guarenteed, the sound processor, picture processing and everything else are completly B&O Every screen is calibrated aty the factory for the best picture performance.

Not looking to get into an argument over it, just felt your original statement might mislead people here who look to your comments as informed on these matters.

It may well be that some internal components are B&O specific but B&O are widely accepted as style over substance, so why would it result in a better TV?

Plasma and lcd at present can't go to 150" because and are you ready for this.....

They can't fit in the hold of a 747 and there for can't be shipped around the world (not sure why sea frieght can't be used) but that's the reason.

Besides they all look rubbish over 65"

get a Projector they look amazing.
