ITV HD is now listed on the SKY channels list in the program guide, it didn't used to be and you had to locate it yourself through the other channels facility. No worries...
Yes, but are you in Scotland? I believe that ITV/STV HD is not in the program guide. Can anyone confirm this?No I'm in England but if that's the case then it can be obtained in the same way as previously via the Add Channels Option facility. I clipped this from another forum and gives the gist of it but I suggest the OP checks this himslef. It's how I did it before it was availabe in England.
To add ITV1 HD in STV or UTV regions you need to do this.
Press "Services" on the remote control (or from the Guide go to "Options" on the top menu).
Press the down arrow, and then scroll across to "Add Channels".
Press "Select" or the down arrow, to highlight the frequency.
Using the number pad on the remote, enter the following frequency: 10.832
Press the down arrow, and use the left or right arrow to change the Polarisation from V to H.
Check that the Symbol Rate is 22.0 and that the FEC is 5/6, and adjust if necessary.
Press the yellow button to Find Channels.
Once it has finished scanning, find & highlight one of the channels "ITV1 HD" (there should be two of them) and press the yellow button to store it, and then press Select to continue.
You can now view ITV HD by going to "Other Channels" within Services/Options (it's next to "Add Channels") & pressing Select to reveal channel ITV1 HD & then pressing Select again to view it.

Thanks for that but...............you cannot record 'other channels' on the Sky+ box. I refuse to watch live TV, certainly on advert-full ITV To add ITV1 HD in STV or UTV regions you need to do this.

I didn't know that I only used to use it for football and watch the game live on HD. What happens if you are watching ITVHD via other channels and you press the 'rec' button?
p.s. Have you joined http://www.avforums.com there is absolutely nothing you cannot get answered on there, if it's possible someone will know how! I have found it a useful resource since I have Sky.

Yes, read threads over there on it:http://www.avforums.com/forums/sky-hd-sky-3d/12595...
just wondered if anyone here knows more.
PS, no idea if hitting record button will do anything as I don't have my HD box yet.
