Hi there

Just got a new TV yesterday. Samsung LED job. Getting Sky+ HD installed Friday. Anything I should have in place prior to installation, e.g. HDMI cables etc???

Connecting to an amp? You'll need an HDMI cable to pass video and optical cable to pass digital audio.

I got mine installed last Friday. It is awesome!

Don't get too excited, thoug, it may not get installed. Eben although I mentioned I had a house when filling in the form, the first guy turned up in a small van with a tiny ladder which wasn;t big enough. I then had to rebook another appointment with the "heights team", who have the necessary equipment to install a dish on a 2 storey house smile

The box comes with an HDMI cable. Depending on which school of thought you subscribe to you may wish to purchase a better cable.

Check the signal strength after the guys install the dish. Mine is quite low and gets interference in the rain and wind, leading me to think the dish was not aligned properly. The engineers are coming out in a couple of weeks.

Finally, make sure the engineers tidy up after themselves - they are meant to.
