As subject really, refurbishing an office and the aim is to have a large (I need to look at the sweetspot between size and cost) LCD or Plasma wall mounted with a wireless sender so it can be used from a laptop anywhere in the room.

Suggestions welcome on pretty much all of it tbh as I'm into new territory here.

From what I do know, the screen doesn't need need to be the latest greatest uber-expensive LED LCD, just something that will display a decent image fed a Powerpoint presentation.

Thanks.

Only two real specs to bear in mind are Full HD and a VGA / DVI input. You' might want to consider a large LCD [ or LED backlit] model if leaving static images on screen for any length of time.
Note that the latest Panasonic S series do not have a PC in. Your laptop / PC might have HDMI out however!

The LED sets look overkill once you get up to the sort of size that I think we're looking at, which is likely to be 50" or 60" plasma going off the prices I've seen so far - the requirement isn't to do anything too flashy really, just be able to show presentations easily and quickly on a big screen.

For the actual signal I was thinking something like this http://www.infocus.com/Accessories/Wireless/LiteSh... which looks to work at typical laptop resolutions.

I presume a Plasma should have no issue with accepting a signal from something like that over D-Sub?
