LG's are not bad considering they are more at the budget end of the market.

No idea on price, type the model number into google, you'll soon find the cheapest price.

there will always be an offer on in retail, every month, every 3 months, as new stuff comes out, older stock needs to be got rid of, ready for the new offers coming

just buy whats right for you, at a price you can afford, because next month it will only be worth 50%, and 6 months later you wont be able to give it away ....new consumer technology is moving fast and almost disposable these days...

No - I asked when I bought mine on Friday.

I managed to get the salesman to throw in a £70 HDMI cable aswell.

If you have Sky HD, PS3/Blue ray etc you will not be dissapointed with it but like I say with the standard def pictures its not all that but this will be the case on any 50" plasma tele.

I bought a TV from Currys at Christmas. Their price was the lowest at the time for the one I wanted.

I asked about HDMI cables and the salesman told me to walk down to Argos and get it there. He said it's virtually the same cable but £30 cheaper.

I have an LG and know a few others who do too. cannot fault them in any way. People forget that the PS8000 is in many respects a worthy contender to a G10. If i had space on my chimney breast for a 50" plasma i know which i would be going for.
