As Greg will know I've got the LG 50PS3000 which I got before Christmas for £599 (i think) which I have been very pleased with.

I had one pixel go but that seems to have fixed itself.

Not sure if it makes a difference but we watch TV via Virgin with the V+ box which I understand "upscales" a lot of SD content.

HD looks fantastic
