Freeview HD is being released in my neck of the woods from tomorrow.

Does anyone know of a good freeview HD recorder with 1TB or more of disk space? The only ones I can find seem to have ~500GB which seems poverty spec by today's standards.

Alternatively, if anyone knows of a freeview HD tuner card...

The HUMAX isn't due until 1st July. It will be available in two versions 500GB and 1TB. List will be £329 for the 500GB and £349 for the 1TB.

I didn't realise anyone did a box with a 1tb HD in it! Could you buy a smaller capacity box and put your own 1tb drive in? Maybe worth a try, although of course, that would invalidate any warranty and the firmware might not support it.

Yep although you have to be carefull. For HUMAX's The Seagate "Pipeline" SATA drives seem to work in the 9150 and 9300, (9200 needs a IDE drive and you cannot get the Seagate that works properly anymore), The Western Digital "AV" series SATA's appear to work as well. Please not if you chenage the drive in the Warranty period then the warranty is invalid.
