What TV? 24-26" for gaming

Hi looking for a new TV to replace my 19" Samsung, its a little on the small side considering I've moved furniture around and now sit further away from the screen.
Must be 24" to 26", (only seen Bush doing a modern 24"...)
Budget of £250
HDMI/ HD ready
Good picture for gaming
Theres an LG and a Samsung, both 26" at Argos, for £229 each, both reduced from around £339-350ish. My Samsung has been a great TV, and my boyfriend has a slightly older 26" LG which is also great, heard very good things about LG. Which would you be tempted by? Any other suggestions?

Without sounding snobbish, you're not going to find many replies for what amounts to bottom of the barrel scrapping as far as "which TV?" is concerned.
At that price point, all the brand names you've heard of are going to be much of a muchness - so I wouldn't lose any sleep over deciding which one to opt for.
