Ok chaps having recently bough a txl42u2b ( I know I should have spent more and got a panny plasma but I didn't have the cash smile) I have a question ....

Generally pleased with performance all round but one thing I have notice is a loss of details in some scenes within blacks. Now I know black lcd performance is a weakness but I am comparing this to my 5 year old Toshiba LCD set (WLT66). So no problem I thought just light the back light a teeny tiny bit.

Here is the problem I cant find it in the menu !!! Brightness, Contrast etc ... no problem at all. But not backlight ...... am I being thick or is there an "advanced menu" ?
