Generally excepted wisdom is anything above 36" should be Plasma.
Why LCD does have it licked on static content however, which I'm sure you'll agree is the killer application for television.

I've not posted on these types of threads, but read the lot and respect the views. Suffice to say, after the summer when my home cinema get a revamp, it'll be a (large-ish, i.e >42", <50") Panasonic for me.
That's as maybe, but if I'm already spending hundreds of pounds on a telly, then I'm happy to spend a small amount more and get what I see as the the best value.
I paid under £700 for my 42" Panansonic. My mate who bought the Samsung paid not a huge amount less for something that doesn't look as good.
If price was the main driver, we'd all be happy with a £200 horror from Tesco's...

Thinking of a new tv myself like the look of the g20's. Only worry I have is, do I still need to worry about screen burn on plasma screens? I can spend up to four hours playing forza and it would be on this new set, plus all the channel logos which I believe used to be a problem. Is this something I should be concerned about or are has this issues been rectified, as of not I don't think I have a choice but go for lcd screen.
