Strange problem with samsung plasma tv

Guys we've got an old plasma about 4 years old that has not been switched on for about a year, earlier today I tried it as I want to use it one of the bedrooms and the picture including the set-up menu look like a photo negative. The TV used to work fine last year but doesn't now!!! Any ideas why this is? Is it knackered or is it a case of not being powered up for a long time and it needs a 'proper warm up " to activate the cells. Sorry but I'm no tv expert.

Its faulty m8, nothing you can do except either bin it or put it in for repair.

I am guessing not being on for a year it was in storage?

Or at least somewhere cold?

If you bring a big cold object into a warm, humid room, water will be drawn to it.

Nope in storage in the utility room that is heated as per the rest of the house!!!!
