Sony RHT-G950 "all in one" TV stand

I'm in the process of kitting my new place out with all brand new kit, has anyone any experience, thoughts or best prices on the RHT-G950 (or RHT-G11) TV stand?

On paper, it seems perfect for what I'm looking for (basically large'ish, good looking stand without the hassle of leads associated with cinema sound). I've not heard one in the flesh so any thoughts or feedback much appreciated. I will also be wanting to buy a 40" or 42" TV to suit as well and "maybe" run seperates through it also, depending on sound etc..

Actually,since starting this thread earlier I've since found out the above RHT-G950 is no longer in production, its the RHT-G11 which is avalible now:



Prices seem to be around the £600-£700 mark.

Any feedback anyone??

My best mate has the early model and have to say that the sound is excellent. He got this as he wanted a decent sound system wiithout running cables around the room for speakers, looks very nice an clean and removes the endless clutter of cables.
