Which 55" TV?

Having done all the calculations etc. I think 50 is going to be too small, and 60 will scare off the Mrs.

So 55 inches it is. Only seem to find the odd Samsung at this size. Any recommendations?

I really rate the Samung 6000/7000/8000 series screens and have fitted loads. Yes a Panasonic plasma maybe have 'better' performance in terms of black levels etc, but I've never had an unhappy Samsung client. The 7000 and 8000 are 3D but offer beter 2D performance than the 6000 series, but obviously cost more!
