Sky planner slow after update

I've got a HD box, and it was updated maybe a month ago now.

Its running so slow. I'll list a few issues:

Planner forgets the 'last viewed' minutes
Planner forgets the last show you were watching if you press backup from watching a recorded program
It so slow, I've counted 10 seconds + before commands are processed, but the light on the box flashes straight away. Which causes no end of issues with the above 2.
Changing channel take 5+ seconds.


Is this a problem with the release or something with my box? It was fine before the update. I'd rather not go through the whole complete reset and I'd be losing a fair bit of TV I need to catch up on.

Mine seems to have beconme very slow to respond to the remote - as you say the lights flash but nothing happens.

Have you tried the old uplug, leave for a few minutes then re-start routine ?
