M1 meet up for Watford, Herts and Northerners: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
+1 for the meetAm sitting at the computer right now, so email me and I will send the relevant email and attachments straight back.
You don't need to be put down for Brooklands, I am not a vet. The smiley was just so he knew likely numbers when negotiating with Brooklands. Just come along with a tenner.

Right then peeps.... another update time!
For anyone that hasn't received details, you will need to send me a pm via here, to enable me to reply and send the attachments etc. Just click on my profile, then click "Email me" and send me a note with TiTT in the title.
For anyone who has already emailed in the last 2 days or so, i'll be sending another mass update tomorrow evening so keep an eye out.
2 things to note:
Many thanks to Lasertam for taking a wander and confirming that one of the roads that's on the route is now definitely shut for roadworks. So, i'll be amending the route to exclude Cullum street, and detour to the end to turn into Leadenhall street.
I will send out an updated itn file and route notes tomorrow evening.
Finally: Some more details of the event at Brooklands. We will have exclusive use to enable us to park up all together on the old banked circuit, so just ask the Marshalls to direct you to the dedicated parking area. The general timetable for the event itself is as follows:
12.00 Track demo start
13.00 Track demo end
13.00 Silver Arrows demo
13.00 Lunch break
14.00 Drivers’ briefing
14.45 Test Hill start
15.30 Test Hill end
We have been a slight victim of our own success in that the organisers are not sure they can cope with all 50-60 of us taking part in the demonstration runs up Test hill, so have asked us to limit this to around 10 cars. Drivers briefing is at 2pm, with the runs up test hill taking place between 2:45pm and 3:30pm (not just for us TVR lot, but for a whole range of different cars).
If you are definitely staying around until these times, and would like to take part in the demonstration run, then please meet at the edge of the TVR parking area at 1:30pm. We will then look to select as wide a variation of TVRs as possible to take part in the run. Depending on numbers, obviously we cannot guarantee that everyone will get a chance to drive up the hill, but i'm hoping we might be able to sneak a couple of extras in!

You can add my friend Chris in his Tuscan (not a PHer, but a keen car man), he is joining me on the way down to London, and There is another T350 coming in our group too, also not on the list.
so, removing the spurious Alex, that's 99 cars now, and several have asked me for details without putting themselves on the list.
So, for those of you around at the time of the Falklands Conflict, who is doing a Brian Hanrahan at the start?

For those nervous about running without the itn file.. It's worth looking up some useful postcodes on-route in advance and sticking them in the satnav...I would list them here, but I shan't as it's a public forum...
