They've been pretty free format in the past... People arriving from about 10am... Staying as long as you like... People starting to leave after lunchtime.... Can't see any reason why this wud be different :-)
I think we left 3PM last year at Chatsworth, there were still plenty around at that time. Stamford itself is worth a wander round, there is more to do given the location smile

Hi

Well after a bit of a chat with my family and friends over the last few weeks and it looks like we are going to bring about 8 to 10 cars from my collection.

Does anybody know if there will be a problem for us to put up a Gazebo or two with the cars.

Andy

I'd suggest you drop an email to Alayne to see if there are any restrictions regards that sort of thing.

That's a shame as there is going to be a warm-up event at the Holiday Inn, Corby on the Friday and Saturday. All the details can be found on the TVRCC events forums and the rooms are £10/room/night cheaper. cooldrink

Our Tees Valley booking was made before Angus announced the 'Warm Up Bash'. I am aware of the other 'bashes' that Angus has organised and have messaged him.
Our booking was made via the TVRCC deal/arrangements.

Hi Ken, just so that you are aware the Warm-up Bash is a TVRCC event and is fully supported by the club. Below is a reply that Angus has posted on the TVRCC events forum and the draft plan has been on the forums since 18th Jan and the confirmation was posted on the 1st Feb.

If your hotel booking is anything like the bookings for the Holiday Inn @ Corby then you wouldn't have paid anything yet so if you so wished your booking could in theory be cancelled at no cost to yourself. The wording for my booking is that cancellations may be made up to 1600 on the day of arrival at no cost. If you don't want to change Hotels but would like to join in in any of the activities I'm sure that if you speak to Angus he will let you know if it's possible.

Angus' reply - "Hi Stuart, This is very much a TVRCC event and this warm-up bash is fully supported by the Club and as Nettie highlighted we have a number of activities going on. I am deeply sorry for the delay in posting this up date. If you wanted to join us on Friday or Saturday we would be delighted to see you. Come along and chill out or enjoy all we have to offer the choice is yours.

We would love to see you there"

Just been reading Sprint's double page spread on Burghley.
Is it me, or are they planning on having the Lincolnshire countryside run out in May?
Or has someone got their months mixed up?
Anyway, count me in for a blast around South Lincs if its the Saturday 12th April driving
Clearly this weekend at Snetterton will just be a warm up.....eek

I am fully aware of the posts made by Angus on P/H and TVRCC.
I will discuss the situation with the 11 couples booked in at the TVRCC recommended Holiday Inn at Peterborough. If the general opinion is to join in the Pre Burghley House Bash, then great I don't have a problem.
We made our bookings from 06.01.14, the 1st mention of the Pre Burghley Bash was 18.01.14 on the TVRCC forum.
Maybe we shouldn't be so well organised in the TVRCC Tees Valley Region.
I've messaged Angus in the past re Pre Chatsworth and Christmas events so hopefully we can avoid 'double booking' in the future.
Watch this space !!

I understand the hotel deal at Peterborough was arranged by Alayne prior to other activities being arranged and she negotiated a good discount on normal hotel rates. However, I don't know if the same discount applies to the other hotel or not. Hope that helps a littlesmile

I would think the Corby hotel would be a bit cheaper than Peterborough and of course it is closer. I'm not sure why two hotels were used instead of one. Both sound like good optionssmile

I've requested clarification via the TVRCC website.
No doubt someone will share with the P?H forum

If I read it correctly, Corby is £50 pn based on 2 sharing whereas P'boro is £60 for the room.
