Hope you all had a good Christmas. Just a reminder that the first meet in 2016 will be on the 10th January. This is just to avoid the New Year weekend and we'll switch back to the 1st Sunday from February.
For a change on the 10th, we'll be doing a short "drive-out". The plan is to meet at the Crow's Nest as normal at 11.30 and leave at 11.45. We're going to the Red Lion, 90 Vicarage Rd, Marsworth, Tring, Hertfordshire HP23 4LU. So you can meet us at the Red Lion if you you prefer. You can find the directions here..

Happy New Year everyone!
Reminder - next Sunday (7th) is the 1st Sunday of February and we will be meeting at the Red Lion in Marsworth. No pre-meet at The Crow's Nest this time so go straight there and aim to arrive between 11.30 and midday please. We have the car park reserved for TVR's until noon, after which it will be open to anyone.
See you there

Would you like 2.5kgs of assorted stainless steel metric bolts for free?
Well you can't have them for free! but you can have a box if you donate £5.00 to WORKAID (www.workaid.org)
I'll bring some boxes with me on Sunday so let me know if you want one and I'll know how many to bring. First come first served
MODS please note, this is for charity, not personal profit.

Heads up. A date for your diary.
The 1st Sunday of April is the 3rd. There is a classic car show and auto-jumble at Old Warden Aerodrome so the suggestion is that instead of the Red Lion meet, we have a run-out the this show.
What do we think?
Of course anyone who doesn't fancy the run-out can still meet at the Red Lion if they want to.

Alex has just given me a heads-up on the Old Warden show. Old Warden's pre-booking will close on Sunday 6th March. If we can get a minimum of 4 cars as definite, and pre-booked, we might be able to get a club pitch. This would mean letting me have £3.50 per car at the next meeting.
Or we can all just turn up on the day together an probably park up together anyway.
Let me know what you want to do.

I've renovated an exhaust gas analyzer and it now needs testing. If you'd like your car checked can you make a note of the CO reading on your last MOT and bring it along on Sunday please? Thanks

Another event, please let me know if you're interested as we would need to let them know who would be coming.
Sunday 22nd May Ashridge House, Charity Garden Party in support of the Hospice of St Francis. They have space for 50 vehicles which would be displayed in the grounds for the general public to view. They would expect us to remain with our cars for the duration and be responsible for them. There would be no charge for display but we would need to let them know in advance if we were coming because numbers are limited.

As we did last year, we'll use this as a opportunity to raise a little bit of money for WORKAID. The way this "competition" will work will be as follows.
(a) Entry fee £3.00
(b) You get 3 self-adhesive stars. More stars available at £1.00 each.
(c) Stick your stars on the windscreen of your favorite TVR(s).
(d) The car with the most stars wins. Simples!
Don't worry, the stars will come off easily and wont't leave a mark.
See you all there.
