Looking forward to meeting some of the High Peak crowd again! Fantastic organisation!
Planning to be there by 9am...is that early enough for breakfast??
Matt (Max!)and Joseph
Hi Guys and great to have you along. 9am is a good time to arrive, plenty of time for breakfast. And ready for the 10:30am start. There should be some merchandise still for sale at the start location.
( Another excuse for some photos, this is at the start )
See you all there.....

Really looking forward to this event, the Peaks are in my work patch so drive them quite a lot in my daily but I've never actually managed to turn a wheel in this beautiful part of the UK with my Cerb!

Incidentally - There is a mention of Merch to compliment the event, would someone be kind enough to let me know what kind of items, what price and will they be available for sale on the day? Think I would go for a Polo certainly.

See you all tomorrow!

Can I just say what a superb piece of organisation, guys?
Well thought out, superb planning getting rid of the geriatric and juvenile joggers from the start woohoo
Pub to ourselves for an affordable lunch clap
Lovely pub for the finish
And a great route in between.

Erin Dawes is coming with me this year, not Sam the collie, but at least she can read route instructions. And without getting car sick.
All Sam did was splash around in the pavillion gardens pond at lunch time, and look very surprised when I braked hard, he slid off the seat and his bum hit the Chimaera's passenger footrest. Woof!

I’m gutted! This was my planned first big outing since I started the restoration of my Tuscan (nearly a year ago!). Nothing has been simple (as is the way with everything for me!). The engine has had a Powers 4.3 upgrade, the chassis has been completely restored, it’s currently having a full re-trim and full re-spray that, surprise surprise hasn’t been straightforward for various reasons. Nine weeks so far and probably another six weeks before it is ready. :-(

Great fun, I counted 111 cars at lunch

I also noticed a distinct lack of BMWs on the route, thought nothing of it until I spotted this

Great pics Anthony! thumbup

And yes, it was a Grand Day Out smile

The small but perfectly formed organising team would like to express their huge thanks to everyone who came along to take part in our little scenic tour of the wonderful Peak District. driving
We don't have an official figure of the total number of TVRs as there were some people joining us around the route and others leaving, but we think it was 116 - not a bad effort!
Give yourselves a big pat on the back for making the effort, behaving nicely, and for following our marshals' instructions.
Everyone seemed to enjoy it, helped in no small part by the glorious weather provided by the big fella upstairs following our request bow

I wish I had had the time to take a few pics, especially of our Continental Contingent, but I was a bit too busy!

Please feel free to post your images on here for all to enjoy.

Hope to see you all again next year!

Many thanks,

Kev, Richard and Glen. smilesmilesmile

A local Tvr friend asked me if I was going to this and I said no as I’m thinking of selling my car so should start to make an effort to prepare it.
Didn’t think I’d be to bothered but this looks bloody great this does.

I’ve often said you only realise how fantastic they are when your in a group or like a video I’ve seen, every car coming the other way was a Tvr, that’s just greedy but you never see them on the roads other than once or twice a year it seems so to take over the roads,,, like a Tvr fantasy biggrin
I should have been in that fantasy, selling means I’ll never be in it,,,, reality!
I think I should own it until at least this time next year as this seems to good to miss on a sunny day.
Cars look brill in those pictures in that scenery thumbup

Hi Glen,
From the TVRCC side I would like to offer thanks to all of you for the effort you put into making yesterday a fantastic experience,
never easy organising stuff this event just works brilliantly, I know Richard and speak regularly with him, so was aware of this event and what planning goes into it, but there is no substitute for actually attending it and taking part which 13 of us from WWM did yesterday.
So I will speak with Rich and discus any help we can offer as a club, will do this either today or tomorrow.
As RO for WWM I will get this included as a "must do" event for next year, we will bring more folk next year for sure.

George (my 15 year old son) and myself thoroughly enjoyed it all, it's hard to get a teenager to appreciate the beauty of the surroundings sometimes, be he was equally taken by the stunning area, thanks for organising such a splendid route, I liked the idea of the gathering areas where the convoy could re group, the images of TVR's coming towards alongside the dam's, seeing the convoy snake its way up through the countryside will stay with us forever.

Thanks again,
Steve.G.
